A new book “Global Health Governance” co-authored by Prof. Katsuma (Director, Department of Global Health Affairs & Governance) was published by Toshindo Publishing in August 2020.

Prof. Katsuma contributed Chapter 3 “International diffusion of UHC and global health diplomacy: Norm development based on the right to health.”


The norm diffusion of UHC is analyzed as an outcome of global health diplomacy, with reference to the right to health, primary health care (PHC), the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
