A paper entitled “COVAX Facility, Mechanism for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines (written in Japanese)” by Dr. Wakabayashi (Senior Research Fellow) was published in the “Igaku no ayumi”, Vol 278(3).
COVAX Facility is the global risk-sharing mechanism with pooled procurement and equitable delivery COVID-19 vaccine to all nations including developing countries. This paper argues that it is important to ensure access of the COVID-19 vaccine which is safe, effective, and quality-assured, through the COVAX Facility.
