An article entitled “Global Health Governance Issues to be Addressed Jointly by Japan and Germany” written by Prof. Katsuma (Director, Department of Global Health Affairs & Governance) was published in the JDZB Echo, No.136 (September 2021, pp.1-2), a newsletter of the Japanese-German Center Berlin.

This article presents five major challenges of global health governance under the COVID-19 pandemic, and discusses that Japan and Germany should work together to overcome those challenges.
