MESSAGE

I believe that an approach to fathers may help address the challenges of maternal and child health, and am engaged in research to improve maternal, parental, and child health with a focus on fathers.

Narrative CV

Daichi Suzuki is a Specially Appointed Researcher of the Institute for Global Health Policy Research (iGHP) under the Bureau of International Health Cooperation at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). He received a Master of Nursing Science from St. Luke's International University, Tokyo, in 2018. His main research area is maternal/paternal and child health, mainly focused on fathers. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, he also got the nurse and public health nurse's licensure and has worked as a nurse at NCGM since 2011. After completing his master's degree, he moved to the academic field and worked as a nursing faculty member for 5 and a half years. Currently, he is a research assistant and PhD student of Global Health Nursing at the Graduate School of Nursing Science at St. Luke's International University.
