NARRATIVE CV

Takashi Furuno is a Specially Appointed Researcher of Institute for Global Health Policy Research (iGHP) of National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). He is also a Technical Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, Department of Public Mental Health Care. He graduated from Kitakyushu National College of Technology, majoring in control engineering. He received his master's degree in engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Bioengineering, Department of Brain Information. He worked as a web-based system engineer for about 9 years at an IT venture and an electronic medical record manufacturer. Since then, he has been working as a researcher with his experience as an engineer capable of handling medical information. He is mainly in charge of the IT technology required for the collection and aggregation analysis of the data handled in policy-based research.
