MESSAGE

My research aims to address and lessen health inequalities in children in both developed and low- and middle-income countries by approaching the issues from the perspectives of social epidemiology and social determinants of health.

Narrative CV

Yuko Arimura is a Specially Appointed Researcher at the Institute for Global Health Policy Research under the Bureau of International Health Cooperation at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Japan. In 2020, she earned her master's degree in Public Health from King's College London, UK. After completing her MPH, she spent several years working as a Clinical Research Associate in the private sector. She then joined the National Center for Child Health and Development in Japan as a Research Fellow where her work primarily involved qualitative research for child and maternal health, with a focus on policy research.
